Alejandro is Partner of the Tax department and of the French Desk at Bartolome & Briones.

He has broad experience, acquired in prestigious international firms, developing his skills in domestic and international tax advice for national and foreign companies and individuals.

In the international area, he has advised in different operations of structured finance (Aircrafts, Vessels, etc) as well as in investment structures in Spain and abroad establishing the proper tax planning. He has also taken part in the process of establishment of Spanish companies abroad. Has also contributed to different Tax Due Diligence and corporate restructuring procedures, in which the tax standpoint was often the matter of key importance in the transactions.

He has also an important experience in international mobility of employees and offers guidance, in cooperation with the Employment department, to both Spanish companies which need to transfer employees abroad and multinational groups whose managers are transferred to Spain. In addition, he has also set up different stock options plans and similar managers/employees’ remuneration schemes for companies.

At a national level, he has experience in the day-to-day management of companies’ and individuals’ taxes, providing tax planning services in order to avoid any potential negative risk and to reduce the tax bill.

He has also broad experience protecting client’s interest before the Tax Authorities in control and inspection procedures and before the Tax Courts.
